Last updated: June 2026

This privacy policy explains how boards.agency ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide when using our website or services. We take your privacy seriously and handle your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

boards.agency is a trading name of Ecce Media Limited (03911569).

What information we collect

When you submit an enquiry or book a call through our website, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • Your agency name and an indication of your board volume

If you are a buyer interacting with a boards.agency QR code on a for-sale sign, we may collect scan event data linked to the property board, including the questions you ask and any contact details you choose to share during that conversation.

Why we collect it

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and arrange a call
  • Provide and improve our service to estate agents
  • Pass relevant buyer enquiry data to the instructed estate agent for a given property

Our legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry and providing the service you requested) and, where applicable, contractual necessity. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry data for no longer than 24 months. Buyer scan and conversation data linked to a property is retained for the duration of the sale and for up to 12 months thereafter. You may request deletion at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. Buyer enquiry data is shared with the estate agent instructed on the relevant property. We may use third-party services (such as email providers or form processors) to handle submissions, and these are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
